The Hydrogen delivers enough warmth for ultra-light cool-weather climbs and backcountry excursions, while still weighing in at a wispy one pound for light and fast climbs and hikes. Feature for feature this is the lightest down bag on the world market. Marmot uses only the best goose down available. It is always loose shipped from the farms to the factory and uncompressed to you. Why? because down works best when it has not been compressed. It has been independently tested and by International Down and Feather Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is certified as 850+ fill goose down and is retested at fill time in Santa Rosa to ensure 850+ fill every time. If the down does not meet the in-house test, they send it back. The outer fabric is a Pertex fabric which is down proof and water resistant. (Lightforce No -120 R DWR ) The Hydrogen has a full lenght zip with insulated draft tube stretch tricot baffles, hood draw cord and Velcro free face muff. The classic Trapezoidal foot box is constructed to match the shape of your feet, wider in the toe area and narrower in the heels. Stuff and storage sacks are included. If you want the best and lightest then this is the bag for you. Left handed zip only.
