Larry's innovative approach to problem boot fitting and snowboard maintenance attracts enquiries from as far afield as the USA and New Zealand. In Larry's hi-tech workshop is the most sophisticated foot analysis, ski binding testing and ski/snowboard turning equipment world wide.

Larry's Service centres also provide ski and snowboarding tuning with the Wintersteiger machinery. This machine stone grinds and polishes the base of your skis and snowboard to a diamond finish. This is a process that enhances edge control and overall performance. Before the start of each winter season, it is imperative that you have your bindings checked and your skis and snowboard tuned.

 Ski Tuning

Skiing on poorly tuned skis not only limits your enjoyment on the snow, but can be dangerous. To ensure the best possible performance of your skis, Larry has invested in the latest technologies and personnel. 

Bring your skis into anyone of Larry's stores and his team will assess what service is required. If the bases are is good condition and only the edges need sharpening then consider the "Edge and Wax" service for only $50. Your skis will be passed on the Bett Grinder to bevel the edges, take off the rust and burrs and then passed over the diamond stone to put a structure in the base for efficient gliding. The tips and tails will be hand tuned followed by a hand ironed hot wax. Larry's team will apply the right wax for your trip. Note if you are racing don't forget to ask the technician about our special racing tune, done by hand and a racing edge cut on those edges. 

If your skis have hit a few too many rocks then consider a Full tune for only $70. The 'Full Tune" not only do you get an 'Edge and Wax' service, but we included hand P-texing of the base to fill out those scratches. The end result is a perfectly tuned base, edge and wax that will leave you with no excuses but to have a great ski.

Snowboard Tuning

Larry not only has the latest technologies for ski tuning, but has a fully equipped snowboard tuning department. Choose the right service from hand ironed hot wax ($20), edge and wax ($50) to a full snowboard tune-up ($70) that includes filling all those dings and scratches in the base.

Mounting of Skis and Bindings

Larry's team are fully qualified technicians for binding adjustment and mounting. We take the extra time in mounting your bindings correctly. We set the bindings according to your weight, height, ability and your ski boots.

For snowboards we also set your bindings based on stance preference.

Mounting costs start at $40. Please note we require both ski boots when mounting bindings.
