Front Row Society 'Influit in Se' Cashmere Scarf
Designed Bye Evan Polenghi: Time etches its path across the face of every person, tracing lines and grooves that reveal their history. With this design I tried to create a sense of a collective portrait of humanity, tiny lines representing the veins of history coursing with the cumulative thoughts and ideas of mankind
Evan Polenghi says: Art and design have always been part of my life. I was born in newyork and raised in milan, and have worked primarily as an abstract artist.
Cashmere is one of the finest and most luxurious materials in the world. The fibers are sourced from the undercoats of cashmere goats, which are what makes this fabric so warming despite its light weight, and gives it such a supremely soft texture. Front Row Society has invested years of research into finding the perfect blend of high quality cashmere for our scarves; reflecting the brilliant craftsmanship that goes into our artists’ designs, and displaying their colors at their finest. Our cashmere comes from experienced manufacturers in the Kashmir region in India, an area with a long-standing tradition of cashmere production. Their knowledge and skills with this fabric have been passed down from generation to generation, allowing us to develop our superior cashmere blend with them. In order to guarantee the longevity of our prints, we have added a little silk into the mix, up to 10% of the overall fabric. This enables the colors of our scarves to retain their luminosity, and means they remain soft and flexible after washing.
