Front Row Society 'Pretty' Cashmere Scarf
Designed Bye Akwaflorell, She says: The inspiration for "pretty" came from a vague fusion of feelings and particular quality's, words like "familiar", "domestic" and "goodness" flowing through my mind. I played with this design a lot, creating so many variations on the colors and illustrations that i wound up with a final pattern that was almost unrecognizable from my original artwork. I love the final print and i hope you do too.
About the artist Akwaflorell says : My art is Spontaneous, visual stimulation, sometimes absolutely experimental. At other times its a process of long searching and testing. Sometimes its calm and gentle. Other times its provocation. I need to learn new techniques and ways. This is me.
Cashmere is one of the finest and most luxurious materials in the world. The fibers are sourced from the undercoats of cashmere goats, which are what makes this fabric so warming despite its light weight, and gives it such a supremely soft texture. Front Row Society has invested years of research into finding the perfect blend of high quality cashmere for our scarves; reflecting the brilliant craftsmanship that goes into our artists’ designs, and displaying their colors at their finest. Our cashmere comes from experienced manufacturers in the Kashmir region in India, an area with a long-standing tradition of cashmere production. Their knowledge and skills with this fabric have been passed down from generation to generation, allowing us to develop our superior cashmere blend with them. In order to guarantee the longevity of our prints, we have added a little silk into the mix, up to 10% of the overall fabric. This enables the colors of our scarves to retain their luminosity, and means they remain soft and flexible after washing.
