Using the famous Montbell Bias Stretch and Super Spiral Stretch system the Down Hugger #1 minimises the volume you have to heat by stretching and conforming to your body and with 800 fill power down the total weight is reduced to less than one kilo.
Super Spiral Stretch baffles allow the bag to stretch and move with you. By pulling the bag in around you and hugging your body, the volume your body has to heat is reduced. This allows the bag to provide the same warmth with less down, keeping the packed size and weight down to a minimum. To further enhance comfort, the fabric is Bias Cut. By having the weave of the fabric run diagonally in relation to your body, the natural give in the woven material allows for more stretch and greater comfort.
